Its Kinda hard to describe myself on LJ, I'm a bunch of little things all rolled into one :). On the surface I think I am like most young and modern American women: I take school seriously, I have dreams and goals for the future that I am determined to make happen, and I don't expect anyone to do the hard work for me.

For the most part i'm a good girl, good heart, good soul. I have a sense of humor, a passion for life. I absolutely love my daughter, animals, and nature.My belief system mainly comes from myself; I have taken in what I have learned through all my experiences and formed my own opinions about people. When it comes to people most are good but there will always be bad apples, I think that it is like this with every race. I believe that indviduals up bringing has alot to do with who you are.

Ironically however, even though I watch the news I have developed a disliking of the news. If you really think about it, News is mostly "bad", well the news that sells at least. Sometimes having everything develop before your eyes can get to you. Politics sucks, its dirty, its insincere, and its a conspiracy on its own; but its one major event we never miss. Violence is another one, and don't get me started on that.

I guess it just shows you that the world is real, that life isn't and never has been perfect, and through dreamers like me can bask in surreal pictures of what life should be, that place doesn't exist or ever will in this lifetime.

There are other things that preoccupy me, music, books, my computer. I love music. though I have never had the time to master an instrument, I am proud to have been gifted some what of a good voice :) Music is such a wonderful thing; it's indescribable. Even better is if you can sing along to the words. Who knows maybe one day I can cut a few tracks of my own personal consumption. My preferences for music range depend on my mood. They range from country to Oldies, Rap to R&b, Rock to Heavy Metal. Though I do not find a linking for Opera music in my life, its just one of those things that can drag me to have a migrane for weeks.

Life can be depressing at times, I guess that's normal when you become an adult and realize that you have to earn your keep and fact the problems the world is ready to hurl at you. Makes you look back and wish you were a child again. Life is so much better off lived simply; sometimes we are so caught up in urban living that we complicate things. The best thing to do is just take some time off to think about life and get back into persepective.

Lasty I consider myself a philosopher or perhaps thinker. I once asked myself what drives me, and realized that it was doing all the things that I loved, the things that gave me fulfillment and satisfaction, the things that make me happy. My happiness is derived from the REAL things in life, a loving family, good friends, and a great God.

With all this to drive me. Life is worth........ is worth.... Living.
